John McPherson’s background in finance and business is unparalleled in the residential real estate business.  He has been evaluating real estate and other assets since 1995 – marinas, apartment complexes, office buildings, natural gas pipelines, parking lots, and yes, residential real estate.

He deals in the most complex of residential real estate transactions every day. It is the structure of the deal and the money exchanged which determine whether the deal actually closes. John has closed deals that could not have closed without thinking creatively through nontraditional financing and contract alternatives while negotiating tenaciously to achieve our client’s goals.

Anyone who’s 18 and has a license can help you buy a home. But you want this kind of experience on your side so that you can be confident that you got the best deal possible for what is likely the most valuable asset in your portfolio – your home.

John can put you in touch with a lender who is knowledgeable about financing alternatives that would be right for you.  These programs, if you qualify, can add significant savings to your purchase IF you know how to navigate the complex rules involved throughout the loan process and the elements which can disqualify a home from being able to use these specialty programs.  Maybe a VA, USDA, FHA, or new construction, or floating home loan would be the right fit for you.  John can put you in touch with lenders who will help you achieve your goals.

Having served 6 years as a Russian linguist and intelligence analyst in the US Navy at the end of the Cold War, he has first-hand experience with veterans’ assistance programs as well.
